St. Matthias Lutheran Church (ELCA)

On Sunday, February 5th, the youth will have their soup pots ready to collect donations for SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY!  The competition will determine whose favorite team can collect the most donations!  We hope to collect enough money to give to both United Christian Ministries and Piedmont Emergency Relief Center……..so be ready to give generously!

Fun Flock, Youth, AND ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED:  we will have a pre-Valentine party on Sunday, February 5th from 3:30-5pm.  We will play games, have refreshments, and make Valentines for the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.

The monthly meeting of the Women of the ELCA (WELCA) will be held on Monday, February 6 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall.  Terri Pschorr will have the program and Fran Olson will be hostess. All women of St. Matthias are invited to come & enjoy the fellowship!

On Friday, February 10th the youth will attend Winter Jam 2012 at the Bi-Lo Center.  The concert starts at 7pm with 10 bands (general seating).  Plan to eat before you come or bring money for the concession stand.  We will leave Easley around 4:30 pm.  Anyone needing a ride or directions, see Leilani Watt or [...]
